TITLE : Mobile Application Developer (equivalent to BPS-17)

DESCRIPTION : Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintenance, upgradation and customization of the Mobile APP Platform. Deliver training to the end users as and when required. • Mobile Application designing and development using Android/iOS. • Support the entire application life cycle (concept, design, development, test, release and support) • Thoroughly review the application code, and troubleshoot/debug to remove the anomalies and update the code. • Assist in defining App requirements, designing and development documentation. • Consuming Web Services, SOAP and RESTful APIs in Mobile App. • User Interface designing and implementation in Mobile App on provided mockups. • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. • Taking care of application source code and backup to local directories for recovery. • Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems. • Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements • Create and manage official Google Play/App Store Account • Upgradation and maintenance of the mobile App to meet Google Paly/App Store SOP and policies. • Deploy and upgrade app(s) on Google Play/App Store • Respond to User reviews/queries • Stay up-to-date with latest technology trends. • Perform any other tasks as assigned. Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: • Strong OOPs and programming concepts of Mobile App development • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate requirements, liaising skills. • Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources. • Keen understanding of the SDLC and WBS. • Dedicated team player Job Requirements: Education: Degree in Computer Science/IT or any other relevant field (at least 16 years of education) Work Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in public or private sector Certificates or Licenses: Relevant Certifications in software development shall be an added advantage Language Skills: English, Urdu
