TITLE : Senior Fintech Specialist

Position Overview

The Senior Fintech Specialist will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of innovative financial technology solutions within government digital platforms. This role focuses on enabling digital payments,financial inclusion, and secure financial infrastructure for public services such as Paymir and other G2P systems. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in fintech ecosystems, digital wallets,payments processing, regulatory compliance, and technology integration.

Key Responsibilities

·Lead the design and rollout of digital payment systems, wallets, and transaction platforms (e.g.,Paymir).

·Design end-to-end digital payment workflows for citizens, government entities, and service providers.

·Engage with banks, telcos, fintech providers, and regulators for technical integration and partnerships.

·Define financial data flows,KYC/AML compliance protocols, and risk mitigation frameworks.

Support implementation of APIs for real-time payments, settlements, and reconciliations.

Conduct technical assessments of fintech providers and payment aggregators.

Ensure adherence to applicable financial regulations, including SBP frameworks and PCI-DSS standards.

·Guide the design of interoperable payment systems and support UPI-style architecture, if applicable.

·Monitor fintech innovations (e.g., CBDCs, e-KYC, embedded finance) for strategic adoption.

·Prepare TORs, RFPs, and evaluation criteria for fintech-related procurements or vendor onboarding.
